3 New Teaching Method Improve the Educational Process
Nowadays, “Chalk and Talk” is the
old traditional method of teaching. This method is used in classrooms across
the world. However, this formal and somewhat unimaginative teaching method has
come under scrutiny, with many people suggesting that teachers should not rely
solely on this technique if they want to engage and inspire their students.
“chalk and talk” method fails to stimulate many students’ interests in
learning. Some students are not attentive
in class and do not naturally have the motivation to learn. How to solve the
problems? There are 3 New Teaching Method Improve the Educational Process;
Spaced Learning, Flexible Friday and Engagement.
First, Spaced Learning is a
learning method in which highly condensed learning content is repeated three
times, with two 10-minute breaks during which distractor activities such as
physical activities are performed by the students. This learning method
involves encouraging students to quickly
switch through activities. It helps them to create the connection that they
need actually remember the knowledge. The benefit is allowing people to relax.
Second, Flexible Fridays is an in-depth session of a subject can be acquired by
simply having a whole day of English language or other subject. Teacher try to
help each student and learn what is the most difficult for him/her personally. The
teacher can help students grasp difficult concepts. Third, Engagement is a new
teaching method. Students are argued to engage with the real world
analyses everying that happens in different life cycle. The key is to get Students engaged and
connect their learning to the real world.
To sum up, Teacher should teach
in the new way or new method to enhance students to learn. Most of Thai teacher use only Chalk and Talk
in their classroom. So, 3 New Teaching Method Spaced Learning, Flexible Friday
and Engagement are useful for teachers to teach their student. As the teacher in the future we have to learn
new teaching method all the time. We have to update our teaching style as much
as we can.
